Legacy Community Health is looking for a bilingual Eligibility Specialist to join our team.
About the Position
The Eligibility Specialist at Legacy Community Health is responsible for determining a patient's eligibility for third-party reimbursement by following procedures and guidelines specific to each program and ensuring the patient does not have another payer source, such as Medicaid, Medicare, ADAP, or another third-party insurance. You will also process the necessary data to admit new patients into the CPCDMS and complete the necessary paperwork. Once a patient's eligibility has been determined, you will also set initial service appointments. The Eligibility Specialist also ensures proper coding for insurance billing as well as handling inquiries from prospective applicants and patients. You will need to attend all required safety education programs and annual education programs.

Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- 3 - 5 years of Medical Billing experience, preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish, preferred)
- ICD-A or CPT codes experience, preferred
